St. Michael's Catholic Church in Biloxi, Mississippi has a unique exterior appearance, being a round structure with a wavy roofline edge that is reminiscent of a traditional looking seashell, in keeping with its near waterfront location. Known locally as The Church of the Fishermen, the church since 1929 has conducted an annual Blessing of the Fleet, featuring a processional of colorfully-decorated fishing boats.
In terms of weddings, the tall windows around most of the church's perimeter provide lots of glorious natural light, which makes it easy to photograph ceremonies here.
